Relaxing with friends at the Greer Store, attending interscholastic games, hiking on the Pocumtuck Ridge and enjoying the incredible view of the valley, or canoeing on the Deerfield River are some of the many possibilities for weekend fun here at Deerfield. In addition, the SPAM (Student Programs and More!) Committee plans and sponsors social and recreational events throughout the school year. On-campus activities include dances, concerts, lectures and films.

But sometimes, it's really just about grabbing a cheeseburger, sending a package, doing your laundry, or replenishing your supply of cheese doodles. Deerfield provides ample access to those little things: convenient on-campus stores, easy access to off-campus shopping areas, and other services—like healthcare, laundry, and storage. The school also offers occasional trips to major cities like Boston and New York—for sports games, or to visit museums, attend concerts, or visit a shopping mall.
