February 5, 2010 | Dr. Richard (Rick) Prum '79 an evolutionary biologist at Yale co-authored a new study on the color of dinosaurs that provided more evidence on what they looked like. "The discovery, which researchers reported last week in Nature, supports research showing that birds are dinosaurs, having descended from a group of bipedal dinosaurs called theropods… Given the full detail of the findings, Dr. Prum said, it was like writing the first entry in a Jurassic field guide to feathered dinosaurs."
