Courses & Registration
During the summer, returning or new Deerfield students are sent a registration packet, which includes information on how to register for classes. Course registration forms are due to the Registrar two weeks after the student receives them. Information tailored to each entering class is also available here. When registering for courses each student should keep in mind the graduation requirements.
Course Schedule Changes If at any time after course registration you wish to make a change in your course schedule, you should consult with your advisor first. You should then meet with the Academic Dean and obtain a course change request form, which must be completed and returned to the Office of the Academic Dean. Course changes are not automatically granted, but are reviewed with respect to your long-range academic program, as discussed with the advisor, and the limitations of the established class schedule. Ordinarily, these changes take place within the first two weeks of a term. All changes must be approved by the Academic Dean.
