Deerfield offers an extensive academic program. Our course catalog is updated each year to reflect new offerings, and a special supplement, released each February, details an ever changing variety of elective courses for juniors and seniors.

Deerfield offers a wide array of classes, ranging from traditional subjects such as Calculus, to more unusual topics such as Forensic Science, a course on the history of the opium trade, or an English class called "Being Absurd."  

AP Courses, alternate studies, and spring electives enrich the schedule as well. Each summer, Deerfield students receive information on how to register for classes.  Registration guidelines are provided for each class year, and, of course, Deerfield's graduation requirements apply to all. Deerfield maintains honor rolls and a cum laude society.
