| Deerfield believes that an organized athletic program is an integral part of a secondary school education. Friendships formed on the playing field, the self-awareness gained by trying to run faster, jump higher, or throw farther than yesterday, and the sheer joy of play are vital experiences that enrich the lives of those who participate in a sport or activity. Most teams or activities meet at least four days a week with games on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The health of our athletes is important. Deerfield has two nationally certified, licensed trainers. They treat injuries, provide rehabilitation, and attend practices and competitions. |
